Hi- I have a boat with an 800gph bilge- recently in very rough water- the water was coming over the transom and splash area---into the boat- and no way could it keep up. It is an attwood tsunami- and I would like to replace it with a better/bigger one- but I think my hose is 3/4- and the bigger bilge pumps take 1 1/8 hoses.
Aside from cheap copies- of rule and other brands- are there any bilge pumps that are better than others, or that are known to be accurately rated? I have no idea if this is really 800gph- but I want to get the best bilge pump I can---when you need one- you need it desperately.
