I have an old Mercury outboard v6 and I’m wanting to order some parts but I’m not sure what the serial number is so that I don’t order the wrong parts. I do have a title so I know the engine is a 1979 and the model 1750ELPT and 175hp. There is a plate on the mount bracket with the number 5180350. It says serial number but everything I’m finding online says it should start with a 1 or 0 then a number. Thank you
