Just got boat out today and after 20 minutes of running. When I put it in neutral it still idles at 2000rpms also couldn't shift it into reverse now if I turn boat off I can shift forward and reverse now when I put back into neutral and turn back on it's idleing high and when I shift into forward it will jump into forward and then I lose reverse now when I was going slow and tried neutral again it went to 400rpms like it is supposed to but then after that it started again when I went into forward made it really hard to get up on lift as I couldn't go into reverse to slow down. Hopefully someone can give me some ideas on what is wrong. Is linkage bad
