I need help with my outboard engine motor yamaha 225(2004),
How to turn off service alarm?

I assume it keeps buzzing indefinitely at key-on. If it's a short buzz, that would be normal.

I would disconnect the thermoswitch and the oil pressure switch, then see if it still buzzes. Those switches are the usual things that make the buzzer sound. But normally, the engine has to be running for those to trigger the buzzer.

The other thing that makes the buzzer sound is the neutral safety switch. But if you can start the engine with no problems, then I don't think it would be related to that.
