Hello.. new guy with ?? QD17 10hp

got a 1956 QD-17 10hp.. ordered a carburetor kit and the one I got has a different looking float.. has an oval center hole compared to the nice round one it had... before I open the package is this correct or is it the wrong kit..

According to my books, interchanges, superseded numbers, whatever.... you have the correct kit... just improved and redesigned components. Use it with no worries.
