Johnson Engine ID 2000 70hp? Please help :)!!

Hi all

Looking at purchasing a new boat it comes with what i think is a 2000 70hp Johnson BJ70VESIS?

Im struggling to find info about this engine can anyone help?

Does the "V" stand for special gear case? what does that mean?

Appreciate any help anyone can provide? :)

p.s i'm in Australia if that's relevant!

Do a compression test and perhaps a sea trial before handing over the coins.-----Install a new impeller if you buy it.----Looks like a standard gearcase to me.
 
Thanks. Already have came out at 100, 98,100 PSI how is this? FYI the engine hasn't run in around three years would this make a difference? From a visual condition perspective it looks brand new.

unfortunately its currently not running as last time the engine was used something went wrong with the VRO and it has pumped excessive oil into the engine leaking out the engine cover etc what might do this?
