Hello All, I am having an issue finding the high temp alarm. I have a 1990 22 foot Maxum 4.3 V6.
The engine runs good but I feel safer if the high temp alarm was working or installed
The first issue is I cant find it.
There are two factory wires connected to the sensor. Tan/blue stripe. One wire is routed into the wire harness and the other is routed to the rear of the engine and not connected. It also has an original eye connector on it which is telling me the buzzer should be at the rear of the engine. I looked at all the areas that the wire would reach to and found nothing.
Can anyone tell me where the alarm is located???????
Does the wire routed to the back of the engine connect to something else that im just not understanding?
Im wondering if the previous owner removed the alarm......
Can anyone send me a picture of where or what it looks like?

Thank You

If you have the alarm circuit the tan/blue is wired to the temp switch , the tan wire is the temp sending unit ,they only get 1 wire. If you have both connected to one sensor/sender thats wrong.
temp senders/switch are normally in the T stat housing
