1997 force 120 hp

I have a 1997 force 120 up my lower unit went out it has a 3 jaw dog clutch I have another lower unit but it is a 6 jaw dog clutch will this lower unit work
 
Yes it should.
Put them side by side and if they look the same?? use it.
After 90-91 they used the same gear ratio in all the drives
But anything before 95 won't fit.
95 is when they used all Mercury drives.
