I have a kohler 5e gas generator in my boat and it’s been all serviced this year and it turns on And only stays on for a 5-7 seconds and then shuts down just wondering if anyone would know what this problem is.
 
There's many sources that are possibilities listed in the operation manual....I'd suggest starting there....
 
My Kohler 5E gas generator will crank over but will not start. when I went to fuel up I only had 8 gallons of gas in my tank just wondering if that could be the reason why and now it needs to be primed?
