Hello, I just had a brand new 60 hp installed on my boat. First trip out I went to start the motor and it would not start. It would not turn over and the battery light was on. Ok battery was dead so I hooked a booster pack up to it and it started no problem. When I unhooked the booster pack the motor would shut off. Put the pack back on it and it started right up. Left the battery pack on it for a little bit while it was running then took it off and the motor shut off. Shouldn't the motor stay running when the pack is disconnected even if the battery is bad?
