What I’ve done so far is pressure test the fuel pump. Pressures are 50 psi on high side and 16 psi on low side. Since I already had a spare fuel pressure regulator I changed that also. I replaced the coil but then I was getting a two beep alarm every couple of seconds so I put the old one back on and that alarm went away. Heard it’s possible the engine coolant temperature sensor could be faulty thinking the engine is cold when it’s warm and dumping to much fuel into the injectors? Still plan on changing spark plugs and wires today, distributor cap, thermostat and try finding the right coil and replacing it also. Just bought this boat in January with 340 hours on the engine.
Also could anyone recommend a good spark plug for this engine that I can get at O’Reillys this morning?
