Crusader 454 XLI TBI Running Rich

1997 Crusader 454 XLI TBI.
These engines are on a 1997 Tiara 2900 open. single fuel tank for both engines. Charter boat.
Engines are dumping a ton of fuel out of the exhaust. Fuel pressure going into throttle body assembly is correct per manual. Compression is 150 across the board. New plugs, cap, rotor, etc. Coolant temp sensor, MAP sensor, Throttle position sensor, Idle Air Control all replaced with new. Throttle body assembly(regulator, injectors, etc) also tested by swapping out from boat known to run correctly. Kind of stumped on this one, as TBI engines were super common in automotive, and all typical running rich issues have been address to no avail. Anyone with some other suggestions?

edit: No 02 sensor on these engines, computers were also swapped out.

have you hooked up a scanner to the MEFI ECU's? Assuming both engines are running rich?

Just throwing parts at the problem will only thin your wallet out fast....

Yes, scanner has been hooked up, and shows no trouble sensors, codes, or anything outside parameters.... I understand throwing parts at it is typically not the way to go.. But as it's a charter boat.. having the boat run correctly is more important.
Thank you.

ok...if what you say is accurate, the excess fuel is due to something outside of the control loop the ECU operates on....and you appeared to address those in the inital post.

FWIW, running rich is generally bad injectors. The rebuild kit and new injectors is around $250 for the proper borg warner injectors, that GM used when your motor was built. You can get knockoff injectors for about 1/2 price, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Faulty MAP and engine coolant temp sensor can effect the richness in your exh as well, but it's generally bad injectors. Let us know what you found.
