Howdy again.
Ate my prop prop and skeg on a rock pile. Lower survived without cracking somehow and I’m grateful, but I bent my propshaft and need to replace it. Question I have is how to remove the exhaust from the lower unit to get the propshaft out.
Ive removed the jam nut and lockwasher, but that exhaust is kicking my butt. I tried using a two way puller but I bent my puller trying to get it out. I think I’m doing something wrong here.
Im ordering the Yamaha shop manual finally, but if anyone can point me in the right direction while I’m waiting on it to show up, I’d appreciate it.
