Mercruiser 5.0 Missing every other star

Having an issue with the 5.0 mercruiser in my 2004 Crownline 216ls. Every other start the motor misses. Shutdown and restart and it runs perfectly. This happens consistently with every other start. Any thoughts?
 
First of all, I wouldn't leave the dock with a sketchy motor like that. Assuming it is fuel injected you are probably experiencing a fueling issue since it does fire and run. Fuel pump? Fuel pressure sensor? clog somewhere? Does it have VST? Could also be ignition amp module. Too little to go on tho, sorry.
