Changing impeller on Starboard 2900 Open??

I've got a Tiara 2900 Open, and the starboard engine needs to have its impeller changed, problem is
I can't reach it from the top or the side. Anyone done this job themself? How did you get it done?
Remove the alternator and squeeze across the front by the belts?

Ayuh,..... I ain't done it on yer boat, But,....

Generally speakin', ya remove whatever is in the way of gettin' to whatever ya wanta fix, 1st,.....

Sometimes it's parts of the motor,.....
Sometimes it's parts of the boat,....
Sometimes ya pull the whole motor,.....
 
Well, I did it. Removed the alternator, after that, reached across the front of the engine (from the center) and removed the pivot bolt
and the adjuster bolt, remove the output hose from the U-Tube and the whole assembly including the bracket came to the center.
Whole job took about 5 hours.
