Hi guys, my friend is looking to purchase a boat with this engine on it. My question is what would be good compression numbers for it. They will do the test but he has no idea if the numbers they get are within tolerance.

Depends on your tester, but if it's less than 100 pounds--or if a cylinder is way different--look out.
