How to disconnect low oil alarm?

2005 200 Yam
Owner wants to disconnect the alarms and go pre-mix.
Doesn't want to pay the 165$ for a new pump.

How do I disconnect?

You don't. You repair the system.

The pump in the tank went bad? Was it under water.

I want to replace the pump the owner says NO.

The boats a Key West 21ft,
The oil tank's under the back floor and the hatch seal stopped working long ago.
So every time any water gets in the boat it rains over the tank.
He fishes the Atlantic waters off Sebastian, Fl.

The new pump costs about 160$ and he can't afford it.

If he can't afford $160 he cannot afford his boat.

Sorry, I am not being a wise ass, Yamaha's oiling system is one of the best. I would talk him into keeping it and repairing it.

You would be better served to tell him to take the motor elsewhere.

Or maybe tell him that the cost to disable the system will be a minimum of $500.00.

Exactly.

Disconnecting the oiling system on a Yamaha is like amputating a perfectly good limb.
