The pumps shot.
Are there any aftermarket pumps?
The owner can't afford the 170$ and is looking for an alternative.
He's retired and life on a fixed income is hard on him.

If that can't be found? then what are the steps for removing the oil injection?

I removed it from the tank.
I hooked power direct to the motor and nothing.
Been in salt water for a LONG time.

Just curious...what's the oil level in the main reservior? If level is in between the 2 level lines then oil will not transfer, unless the manual switch is toggled. If pump is shot a replacement option is finding a used one online like craigslist/ebay or a marine surplus store.
 
On a fixed income ?---200 HP motor on the boat.-----Just don't run it for a few days and you have the money for the new pump I think.
