New VRO, but....

Putting a new VRO definitely made a difference on my 98 J70, however.... any feedback on this would be appreciated. It starts easily although the fast idle lever on my binacal remote seems to not work. It idles smooth at 1100-1300 in the water great a midrange and even better at wot its in when first put into gear it acts lke its only on 2 cylinders doesnt cut out or bog when accelerating thats at 900 rpm. Something isnt right. Should it idle in 800-900 then when first go into gear go to 1100-1300 rpm. New carb rebuild and fuel lines so could this be something in Quick Start? SLOW mode, or shift assistan switch? Im getting into ignition components now and havnt gotten that far down the rode yet.

Do a good sync and link on it and see what happens.

Did the fast idle lever work before? That's curious. Did something get changed on the cable adjustment?

Yes you never hear the change in rpms when you restart it also i think my cable throttle cable is old and stretched even though it still works.
