I have a 1987 DT200 motor and was wondering if the carburetors off a 1987 DT150 would work on my 200,I have had mine rebuilt but there is internal clogging in one of them so I decided to just replace them if possible, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Looks like 1987 and later DT150 used 36mm Mikuni carburetors.
The DT200 uses 40mm Mikuni's (size of the butterfly valves)

If you found some 1986 carburetors, I think it would be possible to change out the nozzles, pilot jets and main jets.
Besides that, 150HP engines were setup with
77.5 pilot jets
whatever nozzle size
132.5 main jets

200HP carbs had:
92.5 pilot jets
larger nozzles
162.5 main jets for 87-88 and 165 main jets for 1989-1992

So, short answer is no.
Long answer is, 1986 carbs could probably be retrofitted but would need to be rebuilt and tuned.
You might even be able to use the 1987 and later 150 carbs with smaller butterflies after changing out all the jets and nozzles, but you'll likely loose some grunt and top end.

Sounds like the carburetors just need to be thoroughly cleaned.
For about $75 you can rebuild all three.
Sierra part # 18-7752

or Suzuki OEM # 13910-87D00

Any used carbs you put on their you'll want to thoroughly clean before doing so.
Good used carburetors still need cleaning before use.
