Yamaha T60TLR heat buzzer sounds

I am new here so I hope that I am doing this right. I have a Yamaha T60TLR and after about 4 min. at an idle the heat buzzer goes off and the engine is getting hot. I can see like steam at the motor. Don't have a big stream of water coming out. Well we have changed the pump checked the hose for blockage but still seams to not be getting enough water flow. I could use some advice. Thanks

Welcome.

If you increase the idle speed, you should get a good stiff stream of water coming out of the exit, regardless of whether water is actually running through the engine block or not. If you don't have a good stream while fast-idling, that means you either have an issue with the impeller or a blockage in the cooling lines. What year is the engine and which water pump kit did you buy? List the part number.

Doesn't sound like a thermostat issue or a sensor/computer issue. But replacing the thermostat wouldn't cost much and it would eliminate that as a possible cause.
