1986 vip victory 19' boat

needing a drive coupler and what i'm guessing is called a stringer diagram on how to redue it, for front engine mount i dont really know. i boughter a used in great condition driver coupler that didnt fit so looking for the right one and needing head as i cant find anything on it or on the engine itself to help me out. and i need a alignment tool for it.

The alignment tools, are all the same,.....

You hang the motor on the rear mounts, 'n a lift on the front, slip in the alignment bar, align it, then measure, 'n build to front mounts up to where they have to be,.....
 
The coupler I bought had 2inches between each hole the one I took off was 1inches between each hole also the bought coupler didn't fit the rod when I went to try slide it on because I had this stupid idea to widen the holes.

Ayuh,.... That means nothing, unless you say which way yer measurin',....

If by chance you've got a hold-over 1985 motor, used in yer 1986 boat, you may have run into the crankshaft change Chevy did at that time,....

One bolt pattern is 3" diameter, the other is 3, 1/4" diameter,.....
The later model, the 1 pc. rear main seal crankshaft coupler, is very common,....
The earlier pattern is unobtaineum,.... NLA,... Ship outa luck,.... only used one year, 1985,....
 
i unplugged everything and pulled the engine its was a fully put together peace if you look at the photos i be leave i have a photo of the stringer mount area they was badly damage i had to cut it out and having to redue it other wise the engine will be bouncing more then i do when i trip lol
