ok hi all .. im dumb forsure .i bought a 73 65hp johnson .model 65els73r .under the timing cage basket below the stattor is a rod going to thr throttle shaft ..i need the plastic pieces or clip that hold the rods in place ..i dont know how to order them ..need a name or number

Joe has given you the details you require but for future reference see the tab at the top of the page called " engine diagrams " Click on that and you will be able to find the exploded parts diagrams and parts lists for your engine ... it helps though if you read the model number correctly.
