Volvo Penta kad300 supercharger

Hi, I just bought a boat with twin kad 300.
Is it normal the when starting the engine, the supercharger kicks in for a few minutes then it cuts out?

Yes it is....to “hide” cold start smoke the compressor is running til a certain temp (don’t know how mutch i tought 60 gr)
