Hi new to the forum, awesome resource thank you for that guys. Got a 2004 225 Honda throwing out a solid pmg-fi light and a beep..........beep..........beep........ sound. Did the paper clip test and getting a flash then pause then 3 quicker flashes. Interpreting that as a code 13, BARO code??? Changed oil/filter,front/back and bilge area fuel filters, new spark plugs and lower gear unit oil. No luck. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.

Barometric pressure sensor. Not sure if the Honda has a Baro and a MAP Or Just a MAP that checks Barometric pressure upon key on so the ecm knows which stoichiometric tables to use according to your altitude.

Based on this forum and others, a failed BARO sensor is pretty rare on these engines. Clear your codes first, then retest. The follow Chis' advice.

If you still get a code 13, pull the 26-pin connector to the ECU and make sure the pins are clean and making good connection. Pay special attention to pin 26. Then pull the 34 pin connector and check it, paying special attention to pins 9, 19, and 36. I'm recommending this based on pages 5-37 and 5-38 in the older shop manual.

There is a three pin connector coming from the BARO sensor, try to find that and check the pins. The sensor itself appears to be a bugger to get to. It sits behind the electronics holder on the front of the engine and you need to remove all of that to get to it. If you have the shop manual, see page 5-100.
