engine miss at speed

What will cause a NS50D2 to miss between 2200-2600rpm? Motor starts and idles fine. Seems ok at wide open.

Could be a lot of things. What do the carbs look like? When were they last cleaned? Any loose vacuum/recirc lines? When were the plugs last changed?

When did the problem start? After storage, or after running out of gas? Hit anything? Do you use Ethanol?
