well not even sure yet, . still trying ( in another thread) to figure out what might be wrong with it .. but might be looking at a fuel pump rebuild kit, or carb rebuilds.

Sorry, but is up to you to do the trouble shooting.----Perhaps follow top notch suggestions.-------No one can say what exactly is wrong from 1000 miles away.------So often we see folks looking for the instant cure / majic fix !!

Yep that is why I am working through it on the other thread, just trying to figure out what engine it is in the first place.

I have stated what engine it is !------And most of the 3 cylinder motors are the same parts year after year too.

Flywheel nut is loose, starter bendix gear shot.......some line has got the clamp overtightened, thermostat been opened up. Give us some more pictures and a compression test as well as a spark test. Looks like a clean motor, certainly never run in saltwater.

The original block has a core plug on cylinder block by the exhaust cover. About 3/3" dia. It has the model number and serial number stamped in it. The core plug is a dummy, once popped out it is solid underneath it. You also may get it from the color of the paint. That color blue was not very popular back then.

There is a core plug 3/4" dia on the cylinder block by the exhaust cover. If it is original it will have the serial & model Number stamped in it. It is a dummy hole in it. Ypi may a chance by the color blue. Not used to many years. OMC used that identification for many decades.
