50 hp force power pack

Hey are trigger base interchangeably? I saw one that looks exactly the same as the 1 am looking to buy. The wires are the same color and layout. I need part# f658029 for a 1988 force 50 hp outboard.

If the wire pairs are the same ?
Then it will work.
But it has to be for a 50.
The 85/90 120/125 150 won't.

Yes the wire pairs are the exact same color and layout. How do I know which goes on the other bigger motors?

Here I have attached the pics of both parts. The top pic is the actual part that is listed for my motor part# f658029
The piv in bottom is the part that i found that looks the same. The description says it fits mercury, Chrysler, force etc from year 92-95 (40-50hp). The part # 819527A1. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks

That should work.
The bigger motors have more wires.
2 for each cylinder.
