Evinrude Triumph Selectric shift issues 65hp 1972

On a '72, the neutral button must be pushed before the starter will run. But the prop will still be in forward gear when not running, even though the button is depressed.

The write up talks about green wire and blue wire for the solenoids.

Well, someone in the past thought it funny to make it two green wires.

So, is the bottom solenoid the green wire, and upper one blue?

Thanks!

The motor must be running to shift.----Or I test them on the workbench by turning the driveshaft.-----With green wire hooked to 12 volts + it should shift to neutral after about 1 turn ( yes one turn ) of the driveshaft.----With both wires hooked up to 12 volts + it goes to reverse after about 2 turns.----The solenoids direct oil pressure and you can not damage anything by mixing up the wires !!
