honda 225 blow fuse at key on

I've got a honda 225 that is blowing a 15amp at the key on position, the fuel pump is on that fuse and I've checked the fuel pump it's ok and I've eliminated the fuel pump from the circuit by leaving it disconnected and it still blows the fuse at key on looking for a direction to go in
 
That is a dead short to ground. Easiest thing to find.

Start where the wiring harness passes through the cowling. That is a pinch point. Corrosion makes the aluminum grow......
 
I think you're chasing the wrong thing, the fuel pump is a 10 amp fuse. The two 15 amp fuses are for the ecm supply (No 4) and ignition coils (No6). From left to right, what number fuse is blowing, you may have the wrong size fuse installed somewhere and be chasing the wrong thing. Also, please supply a serial number for your engine.
