Hp and year id please?The seri

Hello! Can anyone please identify my outboard which says it’s a Mariner? It has the serial no.9547375
any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately your serial number isn't being picked up on a computer search which sometimes helps ID the engine horsepower.

To help narrow down a engine year you'd have to know the engine horsepower or even a roundabout horsepower rating.....With that I kind of suspect your 954 starting serial number to be in the 1988 year range only after looking over the chart list of all the horsepower options.....But that's just a guess....
