I recently inherited a 14 ft aluminum boat with a 1986 Johnson 15 hp motor. The motor sat idle for about 10 years. It had a minor servicing (I was told) before I got it. I've run it a few times in the Gulf and on a lake and it has run pretty well with a few hiccups. Lately it has been stalling after 2-3 minutes of running. If I re-prime the bulb it will start again and do the same thing. I recently replaced the fuel pump along with spark plugs, fuel filter, and priming bulb. I'm pretty new to boat maintenance.
