BF 50D series tiller handle

I have a new in the box 06533-ZW4-H56ZA tiller handle kit for A4 and subsequent 40/50 hp engines. Looking at a 2010 fuel injected BF50D series engine. Has anybody tried to put the A4 and later tiller on the newer fuel injected engine? The D engines call for 06533-ZZ5-040ZA tiller. Anybody know what the differences are. Looks to use the same cables, key switch, mounting bolt. Wondering if the harness plugs are the same. Anybody tried this?
 
Warning light set up is different on the EFI motors but you can use it, you just won't have the check engine and alternator warning lights
 
If you wanted the check engine and charge lights you could use the old style two mil light panel and harness and mount them separately somewhere in the boat but not absolutely necessary. If you do want to, let me know and I will look up the part numbers for you
