2004 115 Optimax shaft lenght

I have a 2004 Optimax 115 with a bad lower unit and it has a 5" extension in the lower part. It is a ELPTO model. Does this stand for extra long shaft, such as the 28" version? The transom height on the boat is 30". 18'6" Kenner.
 
The shafts are not measured by over all length. They are measured by exposed length(Installed). Top of lower case(mounting surface) to the end of the shaft.

You options are 20" 25" and 30"

Instead of asking questions you should Pull the lower and measure it. You stated your transom is 30".
 
No such thing as a 23 , 28 or 33" model.-----Actual length of the drive shaft is not how these things are measured / designated.------It has to do with transom height.----Research required on part of the original poster.
