1997 200hp Johnson Venom outboard need to know where hose connects to?

HI,
I have a 1997 Johnson Venom 200hp outboard. I have a hose that looked like it was disconnected. I am not sure if it needs to be connected or not. I cannot find a place to connect it. Any suggestions? It is located in front by the carburetor. See photos. Thanks in advance.

Thanks fazbullet. I looked behind starter and I do see a tube already in the block seam, so I don't think this is the same hose. Any other thoughts? Thanks.
