Thank you, I am gonna buy the seal kit. Any Ideas on where to get the spanner wrench or should I fabricate one?I'm not sure if you can order individual seal parts. If not, just purchase the complete seal kit: http://www.marineengine.com/newparts/part_details.php?pnum=OMC0435567
In the past I've had a T&T cylinder leak and it has usually been the plastic wiper seals. It's the one I've circled in red.

But, to get to that seal you'll be disturbing other o-rings that are almost 30 years old. Quite likely if they weren't leaking before, they will once you disturb them so it's probably best to replace all the ones associated with the cylinder when you do the work.
