Fogging thru fuel line

I live in the tropics but used to winterize boats in Canada many years ago. As far as I know you can't fog through the fuel system, you add fuel stabilizer and run engine long enough to get thst right through the fuel system. You fog using the aerosol and spray direct into the throttle body as per directions on the can. You then drain and change gear oil to ensure there is no water in the oil and corrosion gaurd the powerhead, and that's it.
