mercruiser 5.0mpeller repair

I recently had the impeller replaced in my Mercruiser 5.0 . the next time I used the boat there appeared to be water in the engine oil. Could that be related to a problem caused by the impeller replacement?
 
Only if the impeller replacement was the result of a serious overheat condition and you have a damaged head gasket

Was the oil milky? Did the level increase?
