Here is the problem. Both engines start up fine but when away from the dock after shutting both down the starboard engine will turn over but will not restart. However the port engine cranks and starts fine. Then the starboard engine will start. The problem does not always occur. Any thoughts on this. The engines are 2005 versions with 750 hours.

Thanks

Little short on the details......when you shut both down, is it after a long hard run (up on plane for 20+ minutes)?

how small and tight is the engine compartment(s) they are in? separate fuel tanks or a single shared one?

when you go to restart them, do you do anything different than during the initial startup?

It could be rooted in the installation to the operating details to a sensor being "off a little"....hard to even guess without more details...

One fuel tank. Shut down after short run. Right engine would turn over b ut not start. Then I start the port engine ant the other engine would start. NOW THE RIGHT ENGINE TURNS OVER FINE BUT THE CYLINDERS WILL NOT FIRE. THE PORT ENGINES STARTS FINE BUT THE RIGHT ENGINE JSUT WONT START.
