Hello All,
Really hope y’all can give me some tips and suggestions so I can trace back to my error assembling my Merc 25EFI. It is a 4stroke year 2012-2013.
I stripped the block and pulled it out to change the adaptor and base gasket to the oil pan. I reassembled everything and the motor started right up but only ran screaming high rpm.
It was running smooth before then. I don’t have the scanner for it and dealership is a month out. What had I done wrong?
intake leakage? Tps went bad? Idle air sensor bad? Fuel related?
the throttle is shut closed but it’s still running like 3-4000rpm as soon as I started it.
Please help with any suggestion. I am really a rook to the efi motors’ sensor world, but willing learn from all that come across such problem.
Thank you very much.
