Hi All,

I recently bought an Evinrude 25 hp outboard and would appreciate it if anyone could tell me the year of manufacture.
model number: BE25RSR

I agree with 1990 commercial model number checks out. Normally they have a beefed up gearbox pull the gearbox and look at the impeller housing.
the 40 hp gearbox has a square type housing and the 25-35 hp housing is more rounded.
