Hello all.
I have an E10selcns that I recently acquired. The throttle gear was out of alignment to the timing when I received and I have also done the link and sync. I have two different carburetors that have been soaked in cleaner, lead plugs pulled, blown through with compressed air and rebuilt with new parts and properly adjusted floats. It starts and runs fine from low rpm to high rpm without issue. However, when you let go of the throttle it will just die out when the throttle play closes. It will not idle and the adjustment screw has no effect on how the motor runs with either carb installed. Have put on 2 new fuel pumps, lines and spark plugs to rule those out as well. I’m new to outboards, not mechanics though, and not sure where else to go... please help
