1978 mercury 3cyl no spark on #2cyl

I have a 1978 70 HP 3 CYL mercury the coils are new, plugs are good, and plug wires are good. I have no spark on the middle #2 CYL. What could cause this problem?
 
Perhaps a bad trigger or bad switchbox.

Recommend you do a little troubleshooting using the CDI Electronics ignition troubleshooting guide:

The downloadable manual is easier to navigate than the online version and you can print out pages.

Do a resistance check of the trigger and you may find one of the trigger coils is open, which would kill spark on one cyl.

Switchbox is a little harder to troubleshoot but with a meter and a DVA Adapter you'll have a pretty good chance of narrowing-down the problem.
