Confused by my engine

Hi can anyone tell what year my engine from? and which carburetor fits? om my engine nr is: RW504222. After the number the is a circle stamp 89. But seems like my hood is from 1991.
When I look att carburators noone is like mine. I have the gas, fuel and throttle, choke on the same side, left side in driving direction. But when I look at those carburetors "part schedule" on marinengine the inside parts is different from mine. The parts in mine looks like the 1991 carburetor with nozzle without spring and just a throttle needle without spring. But on those the gear and gas is on the right side. Mine is also not working, gets no fuel to the sparking bolts so mayby previous owner installed wrong carburetor. And also replace the 89 hood with a 91.

Maybe post some pics?
Include the lower unit.

The "circle stamp" that's a foundry stamp.
That means that part was made in 89.
It's possible they made it in 89 and didn't get used until 91?
Not very likely though, they made hundreds each year so the parts got used pretty fast.

The RW504222 is probably a part # where was it located?

It's possible the carbs came from a newer year? 91?

From what I know, the linkage was in the same place on ALL the Force and Chrysler motors.

The no gas to the "sparking bolts" you mean spark plugs?

Maybe the fuel pump isn't working.
You squeezing the ball until it gets firm?

Possible the carbs are dirty and the needle/seat in the carbs is stuck?

Right now its not working post pictures on my phone. Gonna try the computer later.

Well, yes I squeez the ball firm and fuel goes from the tank to the fuel filter and then to the carb. The cup in the carb fills, if i sqeeze more the fuel goes out in the side chanels. The fuel never goes in the nozzle but the nozzle is clean! no matter if i have full choke the plugs dry. if i manuell spray gas into the engine its starts right away but dies becouse no fuel from the carb.
I dont think I have a fuel pump??? I cant see any. Maybe its the throttle that is not working? but i cant see any damage.

The RW number is stamped on the right side (driving direction) on the hardware the cylinder part. There is also the 89 stamp.*

my carb is the one with a throttle needle without a spring and a needle vertical thru the middle of the carb and around it the nozzle pipe is. No springs. Just like the 91 carbs but on those carbs it looks like the linkage is on the right side

It would have really helped if you'd have said it was a 35hp.

The carb is from a 91 ??

Any dates on the starter?

The transom should have a sticker?
Possibly it's fallen off.

The parts used on these motors didn't change much.
The block could have been made in 89 and not used until 91
I said(Not very likely though, they made hundreds each year so the parts got used pretty fast)
I was thinking about the bigger motors. Like the 50/85/90/120/125

No spark: outboardignitindotcom has test procedures for your motor.

This site has a link to a parts diagram.
Under the header, there is a spot that says"BOAT ENGINE PARTS"
Open that and find a similar motor, 89-91 will work.

You said: The cup in the carb fills, if i sqeeze more the fuel goes out in the side chanels. The fuel never goes in the nozzle but the nozzle is clean! no matter if i have full choke the plugs dry.

If the fuel goes out the side or front? the float could be stuck.

You shouldn't see fuel coming out the nozzle.
When the motor turns over it draws fuel as a mist from the nozzle into the cylinder.
