System check ligts

I have a 04 johnson 40 hp Bombadier. When I turn on the key the horn beeps it's 1/2 second beep. Nothing happens after that. Can turn the motor over just doesnt have power at fule pump. Thought I should start with the system check lights. Have general knowledge of electronics and fuel systems. Not familiar with boat motor systems YET. New to the forum thing having have read some here seemed like a good place to get self educated. Thanks
