Same intake on 1983 and 1992 25 hp?

Hi does anyone know if its the same intake on the 1983 hp and the 1992 model? Different OEM but they sure look the same on the diagram, gaskets also differ on OEM but look exactly the same. Maybe they switch OEM towards customer for some reason (increase sales or such). Does anyone know?
 
Did you look at the parts listing on this site? #396788 is listed under both if I am not mistaken.I put one from a 1995 on my 1985 if that helps.
