Hello, I purchased a lower unit for a Force 50 about 3 years ago and it's worked well until now. Ordered a new pinion for it and the one that came for the 1989 Force 50 is much larger than what I have coming out so now I am trying to ID the lower unit so that I can order the pinion to fit it. Any ideas? Is there a cross reference somewhere for the diameter of the pinion? Old pinion has no numbers on it as the new one does. Only number I can find on the lower unit casing is 435554-3. Help!
