20hp johnson rough running

Running lean.----Need to open low speed mixture needle.-------Possibly throttle plate open too early.----Test it with motor level.

thanks for your quick reply greatly appreciated with regards to the low speed needle would that be anti clockwise to rich-en the mixture

Might not hurt to run some Amsoil "Quick Shot" through it, or Seafoam as a second choice. Smething caused it to become lean. Unless someone played with adjustment, or you are in a higher altitude.

I just went thru some issues with running lean on my 20hp and had some posts on here and think I sorted it out now also, so if you have further issues read my posts or pm me.
