hi, im trying to find a 50-78011 starter motor for my 7.5hp mercury outboard but its as if they literally dont exist. is there a more readily sourced compatible starter I could use??
 
Have you tried oldmercs.com? I used to get parts for my 1963 merc there when I had it. There are a couple on ebay also but as usual big money for used parts.
