Been a member for a while but just browsing in the background and reviewing old topics that might be of use to me.

I have some specific questions to ask/thoughts to run by people and wanted first to check which is the most appropriate forum for me.

I have a Four Winns Horizon QX from 1997. It has a three litre power unit / stern drive fitted and is stated on the engine label as follows 'OMC Cobra Manufactured by Volvo Penta Marine Products, Lexington USA. Model No. is 302CPLKD


So which forum for future please ???

By 1994, the old OMC company was now owned by Volvo Penta. Even while you may see an OMC tag or label, the stern drives produced from 1994 on would be Volvo Penta cone-clutch drives. They look similar, but are NOT!

So yes...... use the Volvo Penta forum.
